Mobility to Turkey: We are active learners

Welcome ceremony. -Workshop: Creating a discussion board on the Web 2 tool, PADLET. Opinions about introducing electric cars. -Actionbound: Playing digitally interactive scavenger hunts to lead the learner. -Walking on the İstaiklal Street (Pera Museum, Galata Tower, Taksim Mosque, San Antonio Church, Santa Maria Draperis Church, etc.) -CLIL lesson: Designing working windmill and solar energy models. -Gathering and presenting information about the implementations and facilities about clean technology in the local communities. -“Visiting Istanbul Science Museum and Technology History”, where have Cinevision Salons about astronomy, mathematics, geometry, architecture, geography maps, etc.- Visiting Old City (Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, etc.)- Workshop: Competition (Building working windmill and solar energy models.)- Workshop: Creating posters about saving energy and reducing air, light and noise pollution at school and homes. (Web 2 tool, CANVA)Course roundup and final evaluation. -“Workshops: “Koç Museum”, solving the secret of the bridges of Mimar Sinan Architect, building their own bridges by seeing details of the bridge designed by Leonardo da Vinci for Golden Horn.- Workshop: Istanbul municipality water treatment plant, solar panel.- Workshop: Creating and applying a questionnaire about saving energy and reducing air, light and noise pollution at school and homes (Web 2 tool, KAHOOT). - Visiting Miniatürk which is a miniature park at the northeastern shore of Golden Horn in Istanbul. Natural Science Workshop "Bilim Beyoğlu".
RESULTS: Students will be able to use technology to save energy consuming, realise how to damage environment unconsciously, how to save energy by controlling surrounding environments such as in school, home, etc.
